Actually, I don't think so. Try the R/C aircraft (or R/C car) shop nearest you--they might have some nitromethane engines (or diesel engines). Ah, the smell of nitromethane in the morning... I think I could easily find a few dozen engines and mufflers and come in under 50 lbs.

Unfortunately, starting those things can be a tad tricky... stand back... and they only spin one direction, so you'll need to gear 'em.

Not necessarlily. I built many a control wire plane with Cox engines as a kid...http://coxengines.ca/

I haven't been able to find where it says when the AndyMark PDV will be available to use in an order, I thought last year it was sometime in December. Has anyone seen a date?
