Do you want to know what my start page is, or how you change yours, or both? Depending on what computer it is, my home page is either chiefdelphi.com, google.com, or about:blank |

Posted by Brandon Martus on 05/07/2001 2:29 AM EST: you'd be surprised. google is my homepage too. i even have a collection going of all of the images they use on their main page for holidays. i dont need chief as a homepage because i can type the link in about 3 seconds :) And to Andrew- go to IE, select TOOLS, select INTERNET OPTIONS..., and there is a field where you will be able to enter a website name. If that ISNT your problem and you have another browser set as your default (i wasn't quite sure of the question), you need to find a list of what programs open what files and change them around. Good luck. -erin |

And Apple "borrowed" it from the Xerox people that developed a similar system back in the '70s...I know I've read this...just don't remember the details right now... Besides, what about all of the smaller programs out there that make a Windows desktop look EXACTLY like a Mac? Don't laugh, I've seen them... Nate who prefers PCs(greatly) but can tolerate either |

The link below shows a flash animation of a bunch of skins you can apply to your desktop/windows/etc That gives you the ability to make your Windows Interface look like MAC (or anything, really) I used it for a little bit. But got tired of having to think about where all of my commonly-used things were, so i switched back to regular old win2k. : : you know...if bill gates (aka satan) hadnt won that lawsuit for ripping off macs ideas with windows (someone explain to me how that WASNT copyright infringement???) pcs wouldve gone nowhere...but no...microsoft needed to use macintosh's own ideas to beat them out... : And Apple "borrowed" it from the Xerox people that developed a similar system back in the '70s...I know I've read this...just don't remember the details right now... : Besides, what about all of the smaller programs out there that make a Windows desktop look EXACTLY like a Mac? I don't know that anyboby's going to get their minds changed and as like as not Chris Hibner is going to get all weepy on us and start telling us about the old days when men were men and DOS was the best thing since sliced bread ;-) Let's not go there.
