I have just submitted my Early Action applications to:
Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Clark University
University of Connecticut
University of Mass. Lowell
University of Mass. Amherst

And when the time comes for Regular Decision I will be applying to
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Northeastern University

(But my #1 is WPI, so if i get in, I'll enroll!)

Why are you EAing to more than one college? From my experience and the college students I've talked to, that's usually considered taboo.

Early Action is non-binding, so applying to as many schools as possible who offer this option is a non-issue and, depending on the school's perception of its early applicants, can be favorable. I personally applied Early Action to three schools, one of which I am attending now (Georgia Tech). If the option exists, you should take it in most cases.

Early Decision is a "binding" commitment to enroll if accepted early, hence why it is taboo to apply to multiple schools ED.

Early Action is just the college considering applications on an earlier timeframe than Regular Decision; nothing wrong with applying to multiple schools EA.

I think it is acceptable to apply to multiple schools EA, its Early Decision that is "taboo" because that one is contractually binding, but Early Action isn't.

Applying early decision to multiple schools isn't good because you're agreeing to go there if you get in. Most schools don't care if you apply to multiple schools early action, but some schools (Yale, Harvard, and Stanford for example) now have single choice or restrictive early action that "restrict" you from applying early in any way to any other school if you choose to apply to their early action program.

How colleges can actually enforce restrictive early action is a mystery to me.

If anyone has any questions about Georgia Tech feel free to message me! I'm a second year biomedical engineering major with the focus in undergraduate research and am still very involved with FIRST in Atlanta.

I've been accepted to Purdue University (West Layfayette) and Michigan Tech already, but I've sent applications to Michigan State, DePaul, Saint Mary's, Western Michigan, and University of Minnesota (Twin Cities).

I didn't realize so many people were interested in U of M-TC and Purdue! I hope to see some of you next fall.

I am currently attending ASU but got accepted into WPI via Flex Path last year. If anyone needs help on the flex path submission or wants to see what I submitted for it, feel free to pm me.
