3397 offseason build project

My team is in the process of building a holonomic drive train, we will be using 4 Single Reduction Clamping Gearboxes with 4" DuraOmni Wheels (am-3047). (I know this video shows an ftc bot but im just using it as an example). I've never seen a holonomic chassis like this: https://youtu.be/Z0lUTMBbu9A?t=8s , that uses this type of wheel: http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-3047.htm , can this type of omni wheel be used on a holonomic drive?

Yup, an omni wheel is an omni wheel in this case. You can use the DuraOmni to make a drivetrain like that no problem.

Yes. On CD, search for Killough Drive to find out more. Off-CD, Killough is more commonly used to describe 3-wheel (Kiwi) drive.

If you want your drive to strafe just as well as drive "forward", use 45 degree angle mounts. If you anticipate driving "forward/reverse" much more often than going "sideways", you may want to change those angles to 30 degrees or so.
