The plastic used in the Logomotion tubes is actually a surprisingly good conductor of electricity. Inside the base of the tower is a solenoid. The solenoid creates a magnetic field around the steel pole, which launches the tube upward with a surprising amount of force. And, yes, I learned that the hard way.

It was too cold to go out and make snow angels, so they tried to line up to make the ubertubes look like halos.

The Uber cam served solely to allow robots to collect sensor information based on their position, calculate this information, and slam into people wearing Yellow shirts.
