[FTC]: Tank Treads that don't slip?
We've tried several flavors of tank treads but they slip on the surface. What has been successful for y'all if you're using tank treads? I'm thinking using more powerful motors (60s instead of 40s) might be a solution but not sure.

Re: [FTC]: Tank Treads that don't slip?
There are two primary components for traction: the material coefficient of friction and the weight (normal force) on that-- you need both. What slippage indicates isn't that you need bigger motors, but that your motors are stronger than your traction is. You might try looking at increasing your CoF or increasing your weight before you try lower-geared motors.
