ENFP-A. I had to take one earlier for one of my school and then I got the same thing from this one as well; consistent!

I was actually surprised I got extroverted. But after talking with some friends, they seem to see it...so I guess it checks out.

Edit: Wow, my favorite actor (Robert Downey Jr.) is also an ENFP.

I am an ESTP-T.

It would be neat to see how personalitis spread across diffrence subteams.

This would be so much more interesting if it was a public poll. I would be very interested to know what the personality types are of more than a few people here on chief.

edit: ISTP here.

ENTP type for me. My favorite actor (Rowan Atkinson) is an ENTP, which is pretty cool. Taylor, would you mind explaining what team roles best suit each type?

I'm ISFJ-A, but all the dualities were really close except I/E. 81%, 54%, 54%, 57%, & 58%:

Re: Myers-Briggs Personality Types

I'm an INTJ-T, which seems accurate since I've taken this test a few times before and I've gotten similar results.

It's interesting to see the spread of personalities on CD; the most prominent category at moment I'm writing this is the "NTs": INTJ, INTP, ENTJ, ENTP. Additionally, there appears to be more introverts than extroverts overall.

I guess it shows what kind of people have the tendency to be attracted to something like building robots and those that are invested enough in robotics to discuss it with others on an online forum.

It's still important to not get too invested in generalizing people, since the poll also shows that there still is a variety of different personalities on CD, with at least one person per personality, and Myers-Briggs isn't always accurate on its assessments. The apparent trends are cool to see though.

INFP-T reporting in... this thing is creepily accurate.

On second thought...maybe it works better than I think it does. Interesting.

That they are. The scales are inherently subjective, and the classifications can be taken way to seriously, but it can be interesting to see how groups self identify, how the proportions in a community like this vary from the world at large, or how a single persons self-perception changes over time.

Personally, I have tested as an INTP in the past. This one I ended up INFP-T, with a very close split (53-47) between Feeling and Thinking, so I identified as using more emotion in decision making than I did a year ago. Which sort of fits

Same here, mellow is a good word. I'm ENTP-A. Now get back to work.

I would defer that question to the original thread about M-B in roles.

Took it twice to make certain - once yesterday afternoon and then this morning.

Both times I ended up with the ENTP-A. I am not surprised.

surprised that it says 2% of the population is INTJ yet nearly 20% of the people in the poll are INTJ myself included.

INFP - T. Mediator. Interesting... it makes sense. I feel like I'm always the guy saying "But wait, we have to consider the other guy's perspective".
