We already had the colsons, and by the time we thought to switch the BB were out of stock. They are also running on dead axles and we only owned 4 orange BB wheels broached for 1/2" hex, so it was easier to just press a colson dead hub from Vex in there.
We did not experience shredding issues, but we did clean them off with alcohol after a match to keep them tacky.
In the end, if I had time to pick a modification, I would make the intake shorter rather than swap out the wheels. Totes would consistently jam due to the distance between the wheels. |
