Welcome to FIRST Talk, the post-on thread that is going on for the next 87 hours, give or take 15 minutes, till the kickoff. Talk amongst yourselves. Here, I'll give you a topic: what will you be doing before the kickoff in these few days?

4 days to go ......
 

I'll be drawing more part models and wondering if FIRST will pull some kind of cruel juke on me and completely change the part list (a reoccurring nightmare I have).

Well, <sigh> I go back to school on the 3rd, so I suppose I should at least try to pretend like I'm paying attention. A small independent study group which I'm in is nearly finished our 'expandable pit area' :) I think there may be other study groups meeting - but it being their nature to be independent I'm not sure. Other than that, nothing team related is going on until the kickoff itself which is when we finally really start.

ahhh.... time quickly running out!!!
 

Here's Caroline's List of Things That Need To Be Done In The Next 4 Days:

1. A Chairman's Award video (yeah, right... but i can dream it will be finished, right?)
2. All my winter break homework
3. Cleaning/Organizing our team's shop and classroom
4. All my birthday/xmas thank you notes
5. Sleep... lots and lots of sleep

I'll be gathering my sanity over the next few days so I can loose it the following 6 weeks.

Hmmm....
 

I will be...

1. Doing my homework that should have been done a week ago
2. Eating as many homecooked meals as possible (hard to come by during the Build!)
3. Working more and more with PBasic and other aspects of our controls team
4. And like everyone else... CATCHING UP ON MY SLEEP!

1. Driving up to NH on Wednesday afternoon
2. Skiing in NH on Thursday (and hopefully not having any close encounters of the tree kind)
3. Sleeping on Friday then attending the reception at Dean's house
4. Going to Kick Off on Saturday!!!
