Please help

So I want to build a robot powered by an arduino uno rev 3 for my science fair project. I want to compare tank control and joystick control. I will do this by building a race track and time how fast each type of control completes the race. My problem is that I don't know how to connect a controller to it. I have seen that I can control the robot with usb host by using a Bluetooth dongle to connect a PS3 controller to it. Also I've heard that you can control the robot over wifi. I'm a beginner in robotics and have little experience with coding. The science fair is in a month and I would appreciate it a lot if anyone could help.

This is the link to the video I saw: http://youtu.be/q3vXTX6Qe54

Did you try following the steps in the video?

I have not bought any of the parts yet because I'm not sure if every usb host works with a Bluetooth dongle. Also I'm not confident in building the one he linked in the video. I found one on Amazon and I don't know if it is going to work or not, but it looks the same. I found a Bluetooth dongle compatible with the program located on his blog. All I need to know is that Bluetooth dongles are compatible with any usb host. Sorry I was not clear in the beginning.

The usb host I found:

Re: Please help

Every USB host should work the same way. Amazon even says that the bluetooth dongle is frequently bought with the shield.
