Kumquats?

Well if you read the 46th post here he mentioned Kumquats and i have some questions

What is a kumquat?
Are they expensive?
What do they taste like?
Can you teach it tricks?
Can it program in PBASIC?
Is it a male or a female?
What does it eat?
Is is a fruit, or a vegtible?
What color is it?
Can it ride a segway?

:D just wondering

Haha...while we were filming a team promo video, one of the guys picked up a kumquat off a tree (I don't know why, it wasn't in the script, he's just random like that), took a bite of it and spit it all out on camera. His face that we caught on tape was classic. Apparently they don't taste that good.

The Dictionary definition of kumquat.

It is a friut, a member of the citrus family.
It eats your yard.
Its orange.
You can shape and teach the tree how to grow.
It can sit on a Segway.
It can not program in PBASIC.

That'd be KQT ASM (as opposed to X86 or PPC).

And...

The actual fruit of the kumquat tastes horrible. It's much too sour to be considered a good snack. However, the skin of the kumquat is just moderately sour, and has a good citrus-y flavor.

Kumquats are good....I love them...but you have to like sour things to like them...

Since they are a winter fruit, you should be able to find them all around america during those months...

I've heard rumors about gcc 3.0 working with it. That, of course, means that Debian will run on it. :D

YAY! Does that mean Debian works on 12 different archs now?
i386, alpha, ppc, arm, hp pa-risc, ia-64, 68k, mips, mips dec, s/390, sparc... and now Kumquat?!

The world keeps getting stranger and stranger...

I wonder if a Kumquat has an AGP slot. How man MHz would an overclocked Kumquat run at?

Dude, an OCed Kumquat can run at 32THz... with proper cooling...
And they already use Intel's next standard graphics fenegeler slot...

Well, the Duron/Celeron-esque (read: crippled) models come with a minimum of 2GB on-die L2 cache. I don't think they've revealed how much the high-end version has...

Well of course the Linux kernel runs on it! Linux probably runs on my %%%% watch... and it's analog! :p

MBiddy 25-07-2002 21:48

nVIDIA is probably integrating kumquat technology into their next graphics chip. It could be called the GeForce Kumquat.
