scores
i think the easiest way to determine the level of play at the regionals is to look at the point averages last year. last year works well due to the fact that there was no defense and teams were trying to scope as many points as possible. at utc our team seated 8th with an average close to 180. we had several 200-300 round matches and a few matches where we(as an alliance) made mistakes and only scored in the low 100's. while scouting we noticed a few gaps in regional averages. i believe the utc top seed was well above 200 and this was almost 100 points higher than other regionals. i think the fact is there are more experienced teams in the north east. this would cause for overall higher scores where as some of the other less competative teams brought alliance scores down. just my two cents.
