Nope, this one is across from the enterence from Magnum (sp?).

-Edit-

I just got this from Screamscape this moment...2003 - Rumor - (8/7/02) Screamscape has it here and now... and it seems that The Point will deliver a really BIG thrill next season. If the rumored stats are true, this sucker is expected to be the world’s fastest, tallest, continuous circuit coaster ever built. We’re talking about an Intamin Rocket Coaster that may shoot you out at 110mph up a vertical 420 foot tall mountain and straight down the other side. More info coming as we get it!

Wow. That's nice. And I thought Millenium Force was fast...

You mean the pSeries, like the one Dean rides, or another, different, unannounce, un-showed one?

Ummm its a little diff. It was a beta model that they were going to use but then was replaced with the Pmodel. It has wheels that look like the I and E model, yet they are the size of the Pmodel.

Its not really a secret, if you ask someone from segway they will tell you about it. They are thinking of bringing it to the market too.

Lance, over at Screamscape, is a really nice guy. He means well. He even gets good information every now and again.

However, a lot of garbage pops up on there, too.

Have you stopped to think if you could even climb a 420' tall element starting at 110 mph? I bet you can't.

Millenium Force hits 93. It drops 308'. An extra 17 mph isn't going to get you up an additional 112'.

I promise.

*edit*
I just did some quick math. Assuming that the train were traveling vertically, beginning at ground level, and had an instantaneous velocity of 110 mph, it would climb to a height of 404.7687'. This, of course, assumes there's no friction.

So, realistically, launching to 110 near horizontally, and without the aid of boosters on the vertical track, and taking into account rolling friction, losses in the bearings, and air resistance, said roller coaster is impossible to construct.

I'll send this to Lance.
