The most common use of pneumatics is to be able to fire off pistons (extend/retract) , which can be used for any number of objectives. I would recommend this site http://team358.org/files/pneumatic/, which has everything you will ever need to know about pneumatics for your bot.

Please do not start threads with Open ended questions on CD. Just pm an active member and I am sure they will help you out. It really clutters the place up.

Thanks dude enjoy your compressed air. I am not an expert but I would be happy to help. Team 358's site is a great place to start and Mark McLeod(the guy who wrote all of it) is an active member here who probably would be happy to answer your questions.

Its not the easiest way to do it but it is a way. Just a recommendation talk about this with your team not publicly on the internet. Or if they are not around PM me.

Hey Jackson

Welcome to Chief Delphi.

You may get a lot more answers to your questions, faster, if you use the search function and type in words relevant to your question. Try different searches with different combinations of search terms. You will often find that you are not the first person to have the same question so you don't have to wait for others to answer you. The link provided by katahar should get you started up the learning curve so you can come back with better and more specific questions.

If you ask a fairly specific question and cite the research you have already done, you will typically not get any sarcastic answers.
