Robot in 100 Hours

Hi CD,

After watching the latest "Lunch with Andy", I saw that a Canadian team had done some cool testing of different drivetrains. Turns out, they actually did their own Robot in 3 Days competition (give or take a few hours). Their testing of different drives, as well as their mechanisms, are extremely well done, and there are great subtitles for those who don't speak French.

Hopefully I'm not stealing their thunder posting to CD.

They are mostly University students from my city. They wanted a French alternative to Ri3D. This was their second year.

I like how they still manage to do great stuff without access to a lot of suppliers like Ri3D does with Andymark.

Very interesting! There seems to be a lot of variation among the Ri3D teams this year. The shooter and the "intake" on this I have not seen yet.
