Intake Boulders with conveyor

How do you guys feel about using horizontal conveyor belts on either side of the intake? Do you guys have any Motor Recommendations? We were considering using Window motors to drive our conveyors. Are there any common problems when working with an intake like the one I described? Sorry If this seems like a basic question but I could really use some input.

It really depends on how "Grippy" the belts are, and how fast they spin. And their power. Assuming you used a grippy belt spinning at a medium speed, with high power, it should work fine.

Window motors would be fine, provided that you're not running them excessively long. They have a tendency to get incredibly warm and possibly burn out every now and then. Other things to consider are what kind of shooting mechanism it's feeding into, how you're going to limit your robot to a single Boulder, whether in a pinch you would want to be able to reverse your intake to score in the low goal... list of considerations could go on and on.
