Wifi router radio sometimes resets

My team has made a test robot with the radio router (on page 6, 2nd from top.) We can control it fine with the joystick, when we turn the robot on the the wifwe can connect in like a minute so it works. But sometimes when we test it the wifi just randomly resets. The lights on the velocity controllers stay on, so its not a power issue, but the lights on the wifi radio just turn off and after a little bit it turns back on. What's going on, is this an electrical issue?

Where is the radio power connected? Make sure it is connected to the 12V/2A output of the VRM, not directly to one of the PDP outputs.

I'm not sure about the robots connectivity. I'll get back to you tomorrow morning and see what's up.
Thanks for the response!

Thanks for waiting. It turns out the WiFi router is already connected to the 12V/2A output of the VRM.

I would check to make sure no wires are loose, but other than that I don't know what could be wrong.

Do you have a camera hocked up? We are having the same problem and think it may have something to do with it.

Sorry for not updating. We think we have solved the problem. We changed the wires that we used in connecting various parts of the robot to the power supply. According to the field manual or something, the proper size is 18 gauge, whereas we used 22 gauge wire. I could have this backwards, as someone else in my team figured out the solution. So check to make sure you have the proper type of wires on your robot.

We do not have a camera but we are considering it.
