Dates of Regional Competitions...
 

When about will the dates of all the Regional competitions be announced? Also, if no one knows for sure, when were they announced last year?

Don't book any flights or hotel rooms based on this but it was announced on June 29 at the SCRRF Summer Classic that LA regional will be the first thurs, fri, sat in April. Pheonix will be 2 weeks before that. San Jose will be three weeks before LA. That's how I remember it but it is not official by any means. Can someone confirm or correct what I said?

At the MI forum, FIRST said they were still negotiating a date with the last few sites, and should have everything finalized in the next couple of weeks...just keep an eye on the site...

Let's just hope they don't change the dates on us again! I remember last season FIRST changed the date of the Seattle competition and our team wasn't contacted cuz of some mix-up of who was our head contact for the group. We almost booked our hotels and plane flights for the wrong week but for some random reason I went back to the FIRST website and saw the change. Geez, that woulda been bad!

They did change the dates of the SBPLI Long Island Regional and New York City Regional to the same dates and now my team can't go to both. :mad:
