2016 IRI - Venue Change!
 

For 2016, the IRI will be moving to a new location!

The event will be at Lawrence CENTRAL High School, sister school to Lawrence North (our location since 2002). The event is July 15-16.

This is an excellent location with a great layout, lots of field and pit space, great seating, concessions, a large cafeteria for Friday night dinner and a larger auditorium for the IRI Talent Show and other entertainment. The school and administration are excited about hosting this event.

The school is just a few miles form Lawrence North, so your 'normal' hotels and favorite restaurants are still close by. The school is easy access from the highway and is less than a mile from 465 on East 56th Street.

Any reason for the location change from previous years?

There is some construction planned at LNHS that put the dates at risk, so we decided to change now and secure the new location.

The new location is excellent for this event and we know we will get the same great support from the school that we have received from LN.

Not that this matters too much but, is the intention to return back to LNHS next year? (This is assuming similar issues to this year don't arise.)

They probably intend to use both venues next year for a split IRI. ;)

... to shorten the travel distance for teams north and south of Indy.
