FRC experience/build season mental break

Sundays are some of the only off days my team has during build season. I decided to take my mind off of the mechanical/robot part of things and think about some other interesting things:D . I know many FRC participants are all about collecting buttons/team memorabilia, keeping up with frc memes or the #omgrobots hashtag, so I want to ask a few questions! Feel free to answer any questions you want.

-How many FLL/FRC/FTC buttons have you collected? (this includes 3d printed buttons and clip on team cards). What's your most unique/favorite button?. I'd love to see how many people have compared to me! I've got exactly 75 which I assume compared to some others is a small collection;). How many prestigious team buttons do you have? I've got a bomb squad, Jersey voltage, Average Joes and Code Orange button. How many International team buttons do you have? I've got Dbug,The y team, Panteras. If you've ever been on or are on your teams drive team how many drive buttons do you have, and from what events? I have St. Louis regional human player 2014 and 2015 and champs 2015 human player.

-How many FLL/FRC/FTC wristbands do you have? My favorite ones are 5554 the Poros and 4818 The Herd

-How many FRC shirts do you have? How many have you traded?

-Do you have any FLL Medals? I have one from the eastern Missouri regional championship tournament in 2012

-How many game pins do you have? I have rebound rumble even though I didn't compete in it, Aerial Assist and Recycle rush.

-What's your favorite FRC team souvenir? I have what I think is a cardboard-ish 254 guitar pick.

-Anyone remember the moment during Einstein 2015 when a team
released a bunch of mini red and white beach balls with their team number on them down the sections of the stadium? Did you get one?

-Everyone knows about the paper airplane frenzy during Einstein every year, but some people take it a step further. Some people decide to write their phone numbers/Instagram names on the plane so that whoever finds it can text/ follow them. What is the funniest experience you have ever had from texting a umber from one of those planes? Ever met anyone from receiving their plane? What's the farthest/best Einstein plane throw you've ever made? I remember the time Dean commented on a plane that made it to the podium next to him.

-What's your favorite FRC robot of all time? Why?

-What is your favorite FRC related experience? For example winning an award or an event, simply seeing your handmade robot successfully operate on the field or just whatever you'd like to say!

When I moved out of my parents house I found out that over the 10 + years of being a student, mentor, and volunteer I had collected over 100 pounds of buttons and other spirit items.

This piqued my interest, so I counted today. Now in my 7th year of FRC, I currently have:
  • 29 team shirts from various teams
  • 23 other robotics shirts (event shirts, game shirts, Eat. Sleep. FIRST. shirt, AndyMark shirt, etc.)
  • 5 miscellaneous 1676 shirts (travel shirt, Mantisaurus shirt, Broadway Joe's shirt, thermal shirt, 10 Year Anniversary Shirt)
  • 15+ 1676 competition shirts (including 2 that were rigged with LEDs for RoboProm) (I have 15 at home, plus at least 3 or 4 or more down at college)
  • 1 BattleBots shirt
I might have some others down at college but I don't remember right now. If anyone else owns over 70 robotics-related shirts let me know.

Hi my name is Ryan Hall and I am a FIRST addict.
