I have a variant of the ring finger thing. You can't touch just any 1 finger to your palm if all the others are straight (although you can BARELY do it with the ring finger)! I don't get it! And if my ring finger is straight, I can hardly bend my pinkey finger at all. Why is that?

I can rotate my hand around, at my wrist, more than 360 degrees.

I can also dislocate both shoulders, and create a rather disgusting (to other people) void of bone.

Fun fun fun...

i can dislocate my left shoulder and whenever i do it it freaks people out it is so funny because they think it hurts along with the meditation leg twisty thingy where both feet touch the top part of you legs versious the bottom part like sitting indian style

Mbusters01 17-08-2002 19:30

Hmm, thought I must share.....
Most people would never know, as how most people would never know other things wrong with me either, but it is noticeable when I have a swimsuit on with an open back. When I was born I did not have all of my bones, my bottom vertebrae on the one side (the larger one that is sometimes nicknamed DogEar), was not there only a small piece of cartelage (sp?). Then when I was in seventh grade, I had a track accident on a cement track when running the hurdles. I laid myself out, and could not walk for several days. It is believed that at that time I shattered one of my other vertebrae. Yup, I am missing two bones now.

Heehee, forgot about that one - I can do that too :) It doesn't hurt at all... actually it feels better when the shoulders are out of their sockets...

Fun fun fun...

I tore the ligaments in my thumb in june and now I can rotate my thumb just about 360 in either direction

I can lick my elbow just fine. I can also bend my fingers all the way back. I do other things too. I'm very talented.

Stephanie 18-08-2002 23:32

my sister can also rotate her hand 360 degrees. she places her fingertips on the table, and twists the rest of her lower arm around, then rests her palm on the table again. it looks kinda gross...

I usually place my right hand palm down on a table, reach around it with my left hand, and hook the index finger of my right hand, then pull around. The best part is lifting it off the table and swinging it back into place, being all quick-like...

Aren't your arms almost the same length as your leggs?

Hmm... I dunno. I do know that your handspan (from fingertip to fingertip across your chest) is the same as your height! :D
