Connecting to roboRIO
 

How exactly do I connect the roboRIO to the laptop or what do I do on the laptop to get the code to reach the roboRIO? I've tried the steps below but nothing shows up within the console?

Start on this page with one of your mentors. The steps that connect to the rio are

Updating your roborio firmware
Imaging your roborio
Installing Java 8 on your roborio

Then following that you start to configure radios and understand how the networking works.

To actually connect to the roboRIO you can connect it wired via Ethernet, or wirelessly via WiFi from an on roboRIO.

You can also connect to the roboRIO via a USB A to B (a printer cable).
