We tell our students that the best place to start with a design is by understanding what has worked well in the past and adapting for the current task. Success in FRC isn't about over-engineering the perfect robot. It's about getting something operating quickly, practicing with it, and continually iterating to make it better. Researching what's worked well in the past gets you through the prototyping stage that much more quickly. |
Re: FRC 2363 intake prototype
Wow, this looks very similar to our intake set up.

Re: FRC 2363 intake prototype
I too am interested to see what happens to that ball after you intake it. We saw that you will raise up the entire intake once you have the ball but what is going to happen to it afterwards. I would speculate some kind of shooter.

Re: FRC 2363 intake prototype
Love the intake looks like its going to feed into the robot. My guess their going for the high goal with a shooter no attached to the main bot. Hope to see this robot at the Chesapeake District Championship in College Park
