Anyone watch the start of season 5.0? Ziggo the reigning champ Light Weight had his wheels removed!! By a rookie with a blade that spins at floor level. Purely awesome idea

Ahhhhh I missed IT. I,'ve been getting excited every time i see the ad for the new show and i missed it and Ziggo (My Favorite Bot Got defeated!!!!).

(Goes in corner and weeps)

I saw it. I wanted to cry. Ziggo has always been my favorite. The builder of the bot that defeated Ziggo said that he had designed it specifically to take Ziggo out. The wheels were truly Ziggo's weak spot. Though, I suppose that's true of most battlebots.

On a brighter note, my other fav (Son of Whyachi (spelling?)) dominated his opponent. What fun! =)

I thought about watching the new season of Battle Bots from to first new show, but then I decided not to. Oh well. Maybe I'll start watching it agian. I have not seen the show in many months. It started to seem a little borning compared to FIRST, but that's a different subject. ;)

yeah i saw that too. Excellent fight. I think that the winner had a great strategy and obviously did his homework.

The other thing is also that Jonathan (Ziggo's owner) wasn't entirely thinking about battlebots at the time. It was his first match and he was in and out, he had some family problems that day..

btw: I really hate what Comedy Central is doing to BattleBots. They make the sport seem like something it's not. IE: Carmen Elektra, etc. Im so annoyed right now...I hate contracts.
