Bag motor mechanical connection

I know the bag motor will connect to the versa gear box but how? We do not have said gearbox. We are looking to use some there is no key/ thred/press kunral. What is the best way to attach these things?
Thanks

Either a versaplanetary, or the 3mm GT2 pulleys and 32 pitch gears from West Coast Products. Otherwise you would have to bore out your own pulleys or gears.

Thanks . Split collar the key way looking part I assume is to allow the collar to tighten with the set screw. It looks make able but may be better off spending the $$ and buying the gearbox

You do not need knurling on the shaft to do a press on gear. West Coast Products offers a pinion gear designed as a press on for the BAG motor. http://www.wcproducts.net/32-dp-gears
