Nothing too radical here, I'd say.

Mostly a bunch of reminders about how BUMPERS apply to various rules. Amazing on how when you take something out of the rules last year, it doesn't copy and paste into the rules for this year. ;)

I wonder what elicited the "no additional devices or modifications" in R36. Was someone planning to add a super capacitor to the circuit, a current meter, or what? I haven't been reading the Q&As every day since about the end of week 2; I should catch up!

Didn't #7 just come out yesterday? No, I see it was Wednesday. That seems a bit close together, especially for week 4 of build season.

The updates come out each Tuesday and Friday of Build Season.

Q739? Only thing I can see. Recent enough to have prompted the added emphasis in TU8. I'd be horrified if someone tried adding a shunt for current monitoring in that pathway or something.

That issue with the radios is actually extremely worrysome. Is it limited to only the RoboRIO, or would it affect a switch hooked up to the bad port. If it would happen with a switch, any teams with Ethernet Cameras or Coprocessors are going to be majorly screwed, and if FIRST doesn't change the rules to allow switches between the RoboRIO and the Radio a lot of teams are not going to be happy.

I think it's mostly for covering up a loophole that would have allowed by letter of the law for teams to use their bumpers to pin open a defense and count it as a fresh crossing?

It's not handling line breaks correctly.

If I were to guess, it addresses the question of modifying SB connectors to allow the use of different color (and keyed) connectors. There is a recent thread on this (I'd link if we wasn't typing this from my phone).
