2 USB Cameras Labview 2016
Hello!
We would like to have a 2 USB camera setup through labview. Last year, we could not do that because the RoboRio had a bug and could not support two USB cameras:(. We would like to know if anyone was able to implement dual USB cameras in labview this year. Does anyone know if this bug is fixed and 2 USB cameras can be implemented in labview? Thank You Sai |
Re: 2 USB Cameras Labview 2016
There are a number of threads related to multiple cameras. Some are more geared towards a switch between two and some towards two simultaneous streams. Some VIs were also posted.
WPILib doesn't natively support multiple USB camera streams. It isn't as much a bug as something that it simply doesn't do. You have the source code, and on another thread, I describe some of the key edits to get this to work. Perhaps it will be a fully supported feature next year, but that depends to some degree on how effective the bandwidth limits are. Greg McKaskle |

Our team and some others are working through this same problem on this thread: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh....php?p=1532343
