Reverse Robot Drive Direction

Hey guys,

This is my second year programming for my team and need some help.

I am using LV and want to create a program that when a button is press, it reverses the drive direction of the robot. For example, the robot is moving forward toward the right. Once the button is pressed, the forward direction is to the left.

How will I go about doing this?

Thanks in advance!
Polar

If instead of Arcade drive, you try Tank Drive remember to switch the Tank Drive inputs as well.

Sorry to bring up an older thread, but my team is looking at doing something like this for Steamworks. We would like to be able to switch which way our robot drives forward depending on what game piece we are manipulating. We usually always use tank drive and would like to push a button to switch which way our robot drives "forward"

Thanks in advance.:]

Sorry I should have included that the previous reply with pictures did not seem to show up on my computer.

Thanks

The above example reverses the drive direction while you're holding down a button. Do you want something where you click and let go and drive reverses, click and let go drive goes back to normal? Or maybe two buttons, push button 10 for reverse mode, button 11 for normal mode?

Yes I was trying to figure out away to push one button to reverse the direction and then push it again to return to normal. I would guess it would have to do adding another button array but that's as far as I go.
