Linear Actuators

For an arm we intend to build we plan on using linear motor powered actuators. However the ones we need to use (which reside within game manual specifications) use motors outside the registered motor list found in the game manual. Would we be allowed to use these actuators and these motors or would we have to buy AndyMark actuators with approved motors?

The only motors you are allowed to use are the ones listed in the game manual. So you cannot use motors not listed game manual.

True statement.

As stated, only approved motors allowed. That does not, however, mean you need to use AndyMark actuators or nothing... You can always use the other ones, provided you swap out the motor for a legal one. Depending on the actuator, this may or may not be a straightforward exercise.
