"" In any case, as was stated, contact them directly for any issues. Same goes for any FRC vendor. Most of them are extremely helpful. |

Re: Andymark shipping and service
I get why people complain about products sometimes. Occasionally a scenario happens where a vendor releases a product, it catches fire during build, and during the honeymoon phase of the product it's statistically almost inevitable a team will find a way to destroy it in ways ranging from mundane to grandiose and from unique to depressing (please don't wire SPs/SRXs backwards... please).
However, it's not like the vendor can easily go into hiding, and they usually never do. Service has been consistently great across AM/VEX/WCP/CTRE/REV. It's not really a surprise; these operations are run by active mentors. I like to imagine that most of them might be in the business because they want to provide great service to the community and know they can turn their expertise into a profitable venture along the way. Seriously, at least just email them. Even during build season I can get turnaround on communication within the hour during business hours, and sometimes even outside of them. |
Re: Andymark shipping and service
Nothing but good experience. I usually place orders by night, and the great majority of them are picked up by fedex the next work day, so I get them two days after that unless there's bad weather between here and Kokomo.
They must also have a custom box-making machine on site or about 500 different box sizes - I have never experienced another vendor who could pack boxes of random parts so well. The only problem we've had is when AM didn't ship half of one of our orders last year. The problem was at our end - we didn't open up the game pieces to find the robot parts packed inside. :o |
Re: Andymark shipping and service
Our team ordered Rhino Tracks online a couple weeks ago, on a Monday. They didn't ship until the following Tuesday, but we can't complain. The item sells out almost instantly, and majority of items purchased are through AndyMark. The thing is though, it ships when it is suppose to ship, or when they tell us it will. We have had items where we ordered them like Thursday night and received them Friday. AndyMark is doing very well considering how many teams there are, and I'd be surprised if a team didn't get a single item from them. I have no complaints with AndyMark, considering how busy they are.

However, as another Canadian team, we have found that it takes a few days to a week (with standard shipping) from ordering to having product in hand. We tend to favour Vex Pro for parts when possible only because being fellow Canucks their products get to us much faster - pretty much next-day delivery. The fact that our dollar currently loses 40% to yours also does not go unnoticed. |
Re: Andymark shipping and service
I am unhappy with the time it takes to place an order and get the product. I have used McMaster Carr and get things in the next two days. Andy Mark takes 5. Not a huge deal, but if I find myself looking for alternatives something is up.

Re: Andymark shipping and service
They are probably one of the easiest and most reliable companies to deal with, we have never had an issue with them. The occasional storm of the century delays shipping, but that is out of their control. The are phenomenal for our program!!:)

Oh they must be using bicycle to deliver, that clears things up thanks! |
Re: Andymark shipping and service
Nothing but good things to say about Andymark customer service. Even when I screw things up they are more than willing to help out. Getting orders out at the beginning of the season was a little slow but expected due to the high number of orders.

Re: Andymark shipping and service
The only issue I can recall was getting the wrong part from first choice. We ordered part number like 37, and we got 73. A phone call fixed it, and a few days later we had the correct part.

Re: Andymark shipping and service
AndyMark sent our team the wrong belts TWICE. It was very frustrating for some of us, but we fortunately got the right ones on the third try...

Re: Andymark shipping and service
AndyMark is one of the best and fastest delivering vendors out there. At least for us as an International team.
They're kind through mail and phone, fast handeling and involve lots of people in a process to guarantee fast handeling! Not a single point where I can complain on. A+ |
