how to edit your signature

just wondering how to edit your signature, i have gone through every tab in the user cp and found nothing. any help is appreciated

Users are not permitted to have signatures until either a certain post count or duration of time being a member (I don't remember which it is) is achieved.

Both, actually. I don't remember the combination offhand, though.

When you are allowed to edit, it'll be the top item in the left bar of your user cp.
