Pneumatic Cylinder Question

Do the rules allow firing two pneumatic cylinders from one solenoid valve? I have looked throughout the rule book and can find no reference for this.

We are planning to fire both shifting cylinders with one solenoid valve if allowed.

Re: Pneumatic Cylinder Question

You can definitely connect one solenoid to two cylinders, this is very common especially in the shifting application. Be sure to try and make those hoses the same length so shift time is as close to synced as possible.

That is, you can't use two solenoid valves to speed up one cylinder. There is no rule against driving multiple cylinders from the same solenoid valve, but note that if speed is too slow this way, you can speed things up by using a separate valve for each cylinder.
