I like it because I used to drive one. The first car I ever bought was a '73 Mustang Grande. A whale in comparison to most other Mustangs, but the 351 Cleveland in it was sweet. Eventually traded up to a '85 Mustang GT 5-speed T-top with the 5.0 litre V-8 (the last carbureted car built in America). Second gear in that car was a blast! Now I have a '97 Mustang GT 5-speed convertable with the 4.6 litre V-8 (missed the last 5.0 litre by two years, but I may still drop a larger block in it some day). Nice and snappy. The '68 Cobra was my cousin's, but I learned to love it before I even had my license. It made a Mustang fan out of me for life. -dave |
