Auto Selector
 

I am lost. I have put in the exact example code into my code for an autonomous selector, but in my autonomous.vi, when I connect the read string function to the case structure, all the case structure reads is true and false.

You should post your Autonomous Independent vi, so we can load it and see what might be giving you this problem.
