XBOX Controller Sensitivity

Hey guys! So our team this year is deciding to switch from joysticks to a xbox controller. But we've faced the problem that the robot jerks off in whatever direction instantly. Is there is any way in which we could delay the controller or the motor? We are currently using labview btw.

Thank you in advance!

Best of luck to all teams! ::safety::

There are a number of ways to tackle a problem like this depending on how you want the robot to respond. The easiest would probably be to divide the input values by a number that lets your putout scale nicely. I personally like squaring the inputs so you get a higher resolution for small movements with the same max value.
