What programs do you all use for your team's wiring schematics?
Hey everyone, I'm curious as to what program you and your team use for your wiring schematics. I'm in need of one, as the mentors on my team are pushing for me to design a diagram myself. I want to make one, but I can't seem to find the right program for it. What's the most popular program when it comes to FRC Wiring Schematics? Thanks in advance.

I can't recall us ever making a schematic of the wiring on our robot. But there was a schematic provided by FIRST our rookie year, 2006.
When I need to make schematics on various projects, I usually use a pencil and paper. I've also used tinycad. |

All the teams were given a voucher for Altium. IMO Altium its a little over kill for a robot schematic.

I love Altium, but as anthonyttu mentioned, it's definitely overkill. We have done them in AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, and the current favorite for simplicity, Microsoft Visio.

When I was on the team, 2410 used NI Multisim, though access to this program was also partially due to the head mentor also having a PLW Digital Electronics course too. The electronics mentor also taught us industry (or at least as far as GM goes) standards for layout and shorthand for labeling.
