Weird roboRIO to Laptop Connection Problem

So I'm having a weird problem with the roboRIO that I'm hoping someone can help me solve. Last night, the robot was working fine while tethered to the laptop via Ethernet. When I came in today and tried to connect, however, it would not connect to my laptop. Further testing revealed that the roboRIO is communicating with the radio (it is getting an auto-assigned IP address), but not with any laptop (I have tried multiple). When I hardwire the roboRIO directly to the laptop via Ethernet, the comm and data transfer lights on the Ethernet ports stop lighting up. I can ping the roboRIO from my laptop and it will respond, but no other program recognizes it (e.g. Driver Station, Imaging Tool). Connection over USB doesn't work either. Any suggestions?

Did someone or something turn your Windows firewall on?

No it turned out to be some problem with the code for the NavX. I disabled that and the problem went away. I plan on troubleshooting more on our spare roboRIO before our first competition.

Are you using the latest NavX driver?

Yes, just downloaded it from their website last week.
