Just to let those teams competing at the Kettering Kickoff this next week know...if you bring any portable computing device with an 802.11b wireless card to the event with the SSID set to "score_net" and open up your web browser at the event to http://192.168.0.1/eis/, you can get up to date information on matches, rankings, and more! More information to come...

[EDIT]Just to clarify, if you go to that link now, it will most likely do nothing...that is the address of the web server that will be running at the event...so it won't actually do what it's supposed to until you get to Kettering next Saturday...[/EDIT]

So we can click on the link on saturday at home and see the results? Cool. Hope FIRST will do this soon....

Not exactly...there will actually be a wireless LAN on site so that anyone at the event can access more detailed information than what is provided by the standard pit display. As far as making the data externally accessable live, I'm not going to have an internet feed on site, so I will unfortunately not be able to broadcast data this year...
