Early Pit Setup? Flagstaff and Denver?

Hi. Team 4153 is attending Flagstaff and Denver this year and we noticed that the Admin manual mentions that this year some events will allow early pit setup. Any clue if Flagstaff or Denver will allow it? We're driving buses to both events and will leave a bit earlier if we can setup before pits open!

Thanks

NEW THIS YEAR: Some Regional events will be allowing teams to set up their pits as well as drop off their robots during the load-in period before pits officially open. Check the competition agenda for the event you are attending to see if pit set-up will be allowed.

Bump. I'd love to know the answer for both events as well.

Typically, the AZ Regionals have allowed early pit drop off. Not setup, just drop off your robot and gear and go.

I have not seen anything posted yet about either AZ regional competitions, but I don't know why they would change now.

I can speak for the Denver regional that teams will be able to set up their pits Wednesday afternoon.
I'm not sure about Arizona but I would like to know because my team is also going to Arizona.

I have asked the AZ RD re: early pit setup and will post answer here when received.

The location of the answer is given in the part of the manual that you quoted:

Unfortunately, the links to the Arizona competition agendas seem to point to nonexistent pages.

We're going to AZ North, and typically they allow an early drop off. I don't know why they would change but ya know, things happen.

Both the AZ regionals and the Colorado regional do not specify that you can set up. I checked on other events and it specified that you can load in and set up like in the Arkansas Rock City regional. The schedules can change but it is unlikely.

Anyone know if Long Beach and Ventura will allow early pit setup?

According to RD for AZ, Flagstaff will not have early pit setup but will have extended drop off hours from 4:00 - 8:00 pm...

You guys set up by dropping off...

...But I did ask the LRI for Long Beach when I saw him at the Scrimmage. Answer: If you want to set up, it will be allowed.

I can't speak for Ventura.

Just from the few that have shown up in this thread Flagstaff and Arizona should be wicked fun.

While we all have each others ears perhaps we could organize something fun for us all to do together in Flagstaff and Denver.
I was originally going to bring in my Wii U and have an open Smash 4 tournament, but the Wii U connects to the tablet and the nintendo ds with... you guessed it
802.11(n) wifi which is kind of illegal in the rules seeing as they ban most forms of 802.11. Either way if any one who sees this and who is attending those events wants to coordinate something hit me up!

If you're speaking of year's past, it's more like we drop off, then unload everything we dropped off into the aisle the next morning, get in everyone's way while taking up three pit areas of space for two hours, and then we are set up.
