'Push, Navada' Solvers Thread

Have you seen it? Push, Navada. If you have and want to share clues, I am forming a club of watchers, we'll send out e-mails, have AIM accounts, and our own forum. Just post here and I'll work it out.

Remember Brandon... Think happy thoughts...

Push has a mysterey. Like most mystries, they aren't told shortly.

When is it on? I hope its timeslot isn't the same as CSI, CSI:Miami, or any new Law and Order series' episodes. I love crime dramas...

Kristina 17-09-2002 23:12

Go law and order! too bad its not premiering til october 3rd....i have to wait til sept 29th for the alias premiere too. oh well, more time for me to get adjusted to my new huge school

i'm all for it!!

i played a game similar to this one last summer with a speilberg movie called "A.I."

i had a total blast with that game. some friends of mine and i started an online group dedicated to solving the game that eventually grew to over 6,000 people!!

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cloudmakers

http://www.cloudmakers.org

head to any of those two spots if you wanna see the kind of depth that these types of games can achieve if created by a good set of Puppet Masters

anyway... i'd love to get with some of the minds here on CD... we could really have a great time with this

I'm in too! :) We could easily overrun this thread though, considering there is a whole season of episodes left. I'll get us started.

If you checked out the rules, there is a weekly clue in each episode, which must be collected to perform the "Grand Solve" at the end. This week's episode was titled "The Amount". The recurring theme was 1,045 showing up (for example, next to Jim's trailer/hotel room when exiting). So, this week's "test clue" is probably that the winning prize money is $1,045,000.

Of course, this week's clue was a giveaway. If you watched the intro closely, you would have seen this. ;)

(Also, just noticed this, the Push Times has a new frontpage article where a law student hit the jackpot at the Versailles Casino. "He spent $1045 in silver dollars to finance his endeavor.")

Joe Matt 18-09-2002 08:00

Here's something else too, his hotel room had $1045 on it. And I went to www.dmvf.com (which was on the opening credits) and it had that too.

I'll set up a groups.yahoo.com page soon for us. If we solve it and win, we'll split it (Segways for all!)

Heres The List of Contestants!

More to Come!

I will have a group of 10 only, so we have 7 more slots open!

Edit: The first episode will re-aire Thursday at 8pm followed by a new epesode at 9. Watch!

Joe Matt 18-09-2002 10:16

I found this site to help brush up on the clues

http://community.realitytvworld.com/...f=DCConfI D17

What I'm going to do is do a groups.yahoo.com board when I get home. Then I'll invite you and we'll solve it!

George1902 18-09-2002 11:53

i e-mailed the people in the personal's ads last night and they all got back to me with responses...

let's meet for a slow dance... i get off work at 7... that sort of thing...

prolly just auto responses, but it was a nice touch

i also submitted my e-mail for updates to the site... we'll see how that goes...

i taped the episode last night, but haven't had the chance to see it again. i think there were a few phone numbers that looked real enough. if anyone wants to call them, let us know what happens

Hey, George! That's great. I was part of Cloudmakers too.

The Push, Nevada people appear to be doing an online section too. The cool part is that even the privacy disclaimers are done in character. For example, the Push Times is owned by Watermark Consolidated LLC.

Adrian Wong 18-09-2002 12:04

Why do we have to limit the group to ten?

Joe Matt 18-09-2002 15:42

Ok, then well kill the most people at 10. Anyone who wants to join can. Just give me an hour or so and I'll set it up.

Joseph

Ok, groups.yahoo.com site up!

You'll need an yahoo.com account, but it's free!

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cdpush-nevada

Join and rejoice! Lets get everyone on before the first episode re-airs!

Joe Matt 19-09-2002 09:55

We need more people! Come on!
