I don't know if T.H.R.U.S.T wants a picture of their bot on chief delphi or not but their robot was awesome at Guilford. They were by far the most underrated team via the ranking score ranks. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see you (and your great high shooting capabilities) at Perry.

Yes, please do not post picture of our robot. One will be coming soon.
Thanks for the props :)
Good luck at your next event.

Does anyone know the cause of field faults on match 2?

Also I'm glad the stream is decent.

Did the stream miss match 1?

First match of the year and they got a capture! Way to go 1024 /292/ 1701. Seems like 2/3 of the 2015 district championship team had a good additional MI team to kick off the 2016 IN districts.

Anyone know if the stream will be archived yet? I can't watch it much over the weekend. Thanks.

I have uploaded video of all 1747's matches and most of the elimination matches.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...XQSRbiXWyekewe

Thanks to our alliance partners 1024 and 45 for an amazing weekend. We're looking forward to competing again next week.

*Non 1747 matches are on channel not in playlist.

I heard that in the FMS system this year, that both ref's scoring panels have to agree / be committed on the auto crossing score before teleop starts. I think teleop was starting before the ref panel auto scores were submitted, which then no field sounds... So working out how the new field "works". I am sure the Indiana crew will give feedback to FMS engineers.

Red Alert had a great time at Tippecanoe. FIRST Stronghold is fun to watch and fun to play.

Wow, this game is rough on robots. I had said going in that it was going to be a war of attrition, and it sure was.

Thank you, 3357 and 2171, for being great alliance partners. We worked really well together and were able to put up a strong showing through the semi-finals. I just wish we all could have stayed operational long enough to eek out a few more wins.

Congratulations to 868 for your District Chairman's Award. You've really done well the last few years developing into a shining example for other teams.

Congrats to 2197 on winning EI.

Congratulations to 1024, 1747, and 45 for your win. It was hard fought and you guys deserve it.

All in all, great tournament. Obviously some issues with event flow, but that's typical with a first-time event. We're looking forward to competing again next week, and the week after, and hopefully 3 weeks after that, and finally 2 weeks after that. :D

Good luck, on your next (or first) event next week Indiana teams!

Heya Chris-

How were the boulders being scored. I rewound your QF3-3 match a few times and it would appear that you scored 9 boulders, but were only credited for the first 7. Even the announcer said you only needed one more, or did something else occur that I'm not aware of?

Unfortunately, I'm not mentoring this year, so I haven't read the tournament details.

It's possible some of the matches are labeled wrong. If I have the wrong match number for a match please let me know and I'll fix it

The ref's have a BIG JOB this year watching this game. I can't imagine sitting there trying to watch all the fouls, and everything they do. In this game, they might miss a defense crossing, or a foul. At some point I am sure teams get frustrated, but they have to remember we are only human.

Well I will miss seeing you with Argos! Hope all is going well.

To answer your last question, never before in past games has it been very important that all three robots work all the way to the end. There is a feature in this game in eliminations that you have to shoot 8 boulders to take castle. (we did that part), however to get 25 bonus points, all three robots have to be on the castle batter. We would have tied QF3-3 had our alliance robot not been dead. So it's tougher this year if you think about. Two robots can't carry the win like in games past. Those 25 points are a deal breaker.

Did I miss something or do they not announce the District Woodie Flowers nominees at each district event?
They weren't announced at the Tippy event.
