Very very nice. A cool feature in the future (no pun intended) would be to select drivetrain types (tank, swerve, lunacy, etc).

Team 20, great job with the simulator! A huge accomplishment to be able to publish something this nice. Much tougher than it looks to develop software.

Also, new high score ;)

When does Multi-Player come out?

Yes, it turned out to be much harder to get the robot to move correctly than initially thought. I'll talk to the lead developer on whether we can change just deceleration without messing up turning.

As someone who is also working in unity with wheeled objects, I can attest to the difficulty of dealing with wheel physics in video games. Other than the fundamental challenges regarding calculating dry friction on multiple connected rigidbodies, PhysX's wheel colliders have been rather broken in their latest release, meaning we all have to make our own wheel physics if we want our vehicles to act sensibly.

Now that would be interesting. :P That would actually be quite cool. :)

I was talking about this with a few of my friends this morning. It would make drive team practice a lot of fun.

Excellent work, guys! Like others have said, a multiplayer feature would really change things up...

Sorry to revive an old thread, but is the simulator still available online? I can't find it on Team 20's site (the link is broken).

The simulator is no longer on our website. Mid-September the page stopped working, so we took it down. The page would start to load, and then go completely blank. If anyone has any insight into what might have been causing this problem, advice would be appreciated so we could try to get it back up.

We are also working on trying to fix the problem where the robot would have no friction with the field for next season's simulator.

Any way you could host the file somewhere so it can be downloaded? I find that these FRC simulators work better when downloaded anyway. It should work that way if the problem was just the website. I know Windows doesn't always like Unity-based applications running in a browser, so maybe the server had a problem with it?
