Light Noise

Anybody have tips if we are at a venue and the field is heavy on the lightshow and our camera is getting confused?

Are you referring to the camera on the robot or something you are recording the matches with?

Camera on the bot. The field out here is obnoxious.

You could bring it up to event staff and or head ref. Perhaps they would tone it down a bit

The practice field has the towers backdropped by lcd screens. Its funny to watch our robot gets confused.

I'd suggest turning down the exposure on the camera, as the return from the retro reflective tape should be 200-300x the ambient light in the spectrum you shine on it.
