Regestering for a another regoinal.

My team had a very rough time the NYC regional. We had lots of brownouts but our robot was really great once we got OT running. We were 13th overall and didn't get chosen for an alliance. We feel like we can go to another regional and qualify for nationals. Is this possible if we can get the money?

If the regional has space as well, sure. Contact the Regional Director of whatever regional you're planning on attending to double check.

I'll echo this suggestion. There are some regionals with open capacity still, but it never hurts to contact the Regional Director.

Wisconsin Regional (Milwaukee) is the closest. However, it is over Easter Weekend. Which is good (school may be out), or bad (don't want to give up Easter). Hope to see you there.

It is. I hope you bagged your robot before you left the NYC regional. In either case, I'd contact FRC Team Support (frcteams@firstinspires.org) as your starting point. They will have the full view on what events are still possible and how you can get paid up.

Um, in what sense. Wouldn't Queen City be closer to NY?

Also a side note,

Despite the Midwest Regional Indicating that it is full, I believe it can handle up to 54 teams. If you flew to an event (which you probably wouldn't do) it could be a good option with ORD and MDW airports being so large.

Emailing FIRST seems like a really good start. Like Billfred said, if you have not bagged your robot already you need to do that immediately.

I hope you guys can make it to another regional. We probably(Almost definitely) can not sadly.

We are holding out a bit really hoping to get off waitlist but we are all a little confused on how it works so not much hope is there.

I am going to worlds either way personally so, I hope to see you there.

I can say it is still possible to register for another regional.

Last year during about week 2 of competitions I had gotten an email about spots still being open at Finger Lakes, Within about 36 hours of receiving that email our team talked and got registered for the regional and booked hotels.

Thank you all for the info. Now that we know it is possible we have some tough choices to make.
