Us 5137 #3 in CVR 2nd allince captain pretty sure that cracks week 2 top 40

We matched 610 in terms of teleop low goal cycles when we had comms. we just didn't have a hanger though. I'm not complaining about not being in the top 40.

It's one thing for your team to not be well known. It's another to be known to everyone as "that team that constantly complains about people not recognizing them". That being said, you guys may very well be one of the top bots but you shouldn't need public approval to know that you are a good team. We have never been in the Top25 list with any of our bots but our team is still proud of our past accomplishments and will always strive to improve year after year.

Sure, let's play a game of who has banners this year: I got 1 and I'm only 20% done with my season (may change depending on qualifying for DCMP).


Point is, whining about not being on some top 25 list is kinda like whining about the match schedule - ultimately a pointless waste of your time. Focus on building cool robots and if the people that vote on these things don't like it, who cares.

I 90% agree with Andrew here. Look getting on the Top 25 is cool because it means that people notice your team and your performance. Even before I joined the crew it has always been my focus to try and market 2826 the best we can. Not so we get on the top 25, but so other teams know who we are and talk about us. Why? Because when we are not an alliance captain, I want my team positioned in the mind of the alliance captain stakeholder that handles who selects what team so I am picked.

There was 24 week 2 events (25 if you count Israel) there is not enough slots for the top 2 of every event to make the top 25 let alone top 3.

Trust me I get your frustrations about the apparent lack if notice your team is getting, I came from a much less well known team than the one I am on now. With time and continued solid performance your team will get notice and respect. 4334, 4451, and 4488 are all teams that are all considered top teams in their area despite their relative young age

I didn't realize 10 year olds were allowed to mentor teams now.

Way to make your team seem like a fantastic bunch of people, I'm sure everyone will recognize you now, for very positive reasons.
