LabVIEW w/ Ubuntu 14.04

Does anyone know how to install LabVIEW on Ubuntu 14.04?
I tried Wine (Windows Program Loader). That did not work...
Any help is appreciated!

The toolkits you'd need to make an installation for FRC work aren't supported on Linux. For software that is supported on Linux, it's for builds other than Ubuntu.

I've been able to run a virtual machine with Windows 7 without much issue. I used virtual box.

LabVIEW itself has a native Linux version. However teams are not given access to this version. Additionally there are more components that are required for FRC that are not supported by the native Linux version.

It does, yes. But, it's geared towards several very specific builds of Linux. (The page I linked to called this out and pointed out which builds are supported.) With Linux being open source, it's not easy to say "this works on all builds." That's why the ones that are supported are called out individually. Realistically, Linux would have to be supported to some degree as the roboRIO runs Linux and operates with LabVIEW just fine.

Teams aren't given access to the Linux version because it's not helpful to them. Without having the required components supported on Linux, you couldn't use it to program for FRC. It's the same reason there isn't a Mac version for FRC teams.
