Need Suggestions

So, we had forums.
Then we got some white papers online.
Then we added an image gallery.
Then we added a nice little voting script. (which was then replaced by vBulletins poll system)

A 'what am I listening to plug-in' is on its way.

We may have something else new in the works... maybe... but I can't say what.. (it will be really cool, though)

But anyway -- I'm also looking to see what ideas everybody else has ..

So, what would keep you on the site longer, be more useful, etc.

(oh, lets keep the replies serious, realistic, and FIRST-related :D)

Small Stuff?

One idea that popped into my mind a few days ago was that maybe it would be cool to have a thing on the portal page...or the main page of the forums that says if new pictures have been uploaded to the gallery...Maybe kind of like the little yellow symbol that shows new threads, or maybe just a box somewhere on the side that says "new pictures uploaded"

Just a thought :)

I was actually looking for whole new areas to the site, but small stuff's cool too.

I'll work on something for seeing if new images were uploaded since your last visit .. good idea.

A new site. :D

How about the ability to download new threads to a PDA? Would involve some form of AvantGo thing, but I'd be happy to look into it/do a little programming if you're interested.

Chat room?

The only thing i can really think of is the lack of instant interactivity... plus it would just be cool to be able to chat with more people like me. <none of my team uses the internet as much as i do :( so yeah, that's my suggestion.

For a while CD had a chat room that was rarely used so Brandon got rid of it.:(

Yeah, for chat I suggest TigerBolt. There's no reason to duplicate a good thing. :)
