If not too late talk to the control specialist onsite, and review the driver station logs with him/her.

This could be a battery issue. The roboRio has a brownout mode where it will shut down the motors to preserve communications when the voltage gets below 6.8 V. If your using some old or not fully charged batteries you may be running into this. The battery voltage then recovers a bit later with no motor current draws and you pickup some control.

Just a tip-
Secure all ethernet/ wire connections and restart the driver station program before EVERY MATCH. Also, cycle batteries to ensure your voltage is up. |
