Unique Team Awards

1 Attachment(s)
I wanted to start this out saying we had a fantastic time at the Midwest Regional as we do every year. So many great teams. Thank you to everyone who gave us a team award, they mean so much to us!
However, one team award we received at Midwest Regional really stood out. So much so, that I felt it necessary to start my first Thread...

I don't remember which match number it was, but during qualifications, we broke one of the "Shovel the Fries" sections. Hopefully someone got video with with good audio, because the announcer covered it well. Anyway, our friends from Huskie Robotics 3061 was thoughtful enough to grab the piece we broke and gave it to us as the "Permanent Breach Award"

What 3061 probably didn't know is, we also broke the Shovel the Fries the same way at St Louis Regional...So, I guess it is well earned!

Thank you Huskie, you have a great robot this year, and your ranking was well earned at Midwest! We wish we would have had the chance to play with you guys in eliminations.

Has anyone else received a "Unique Team Award?"

The emcee at the Boston District Qualifier also gave team 2262 a piece of a defense their robot broke.

Maybe not a team award, but I got a limited edition signed 2451 button. Certainly unique.

The divider off the Batter ramp, or at least the part of it we found. :ahh:

Greater KC has a "Machine Shop Award", awarded by the shop for gratuitous use of their exceptional abilities. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of the award; 2410 won it a few years back.

All right Billy, I'll bite: Signed by who?
