Questions about rules

Quick newbie question here: How does one contact FIRST with a question about the rules?

Administrative...

Inside http://www2.usfirst.org/2002comp/ there is a admin_dray.pdf, that is the administrative/drayage/shipping section of the manual, and inside administrative is the right contact info for asking questions.

I see an email address for team support (which sounds like administrative concerns), but is that the same email for rules questions?

If you browse the FIRST site a little you will happen to find a contact link.... http://www.usfirst.org/about/contactus.htm

FYI: I found it under the "About FIRST" section

I mailed frcteams@usfirst.org with a question regarding the rules and was sent the following reply:

Date: Mon, 07 Jan 2002 10:03:48 -0500
From: FIRST Team Support <frcteams@usfirst.org>
To: Jon Lawton <lar1@bigfoot.com>
Subject: Re: Custom Circuit Board Question

Jon, this is the right address but we are going to be using a Yahoo Group
called FRCTech2002 from now on. We'll get an answer on this shortly and get
back to you.

"

So, I've joined the FRCTech2002 group, we'll see what happens. :)

new system

They are going to use Yahoo.

Not sure how good it will be.

We have offered to host for them but they have declined.

Is the yahoo groups going to be the main place to adress all questions??? I tried the groups at yahoo and don't like the setup. Will they reject questions if it is sent to the FIRST site through an e-mail??? I hope not!!!

<VERY WORRIED>

Isn't there an 800 number for FIRST also??? Can this be used to ask questions as well??

Mike Martus 07-01-2002 21:23

800 #

Yes there is a 800 #.

It is 800-871-8326

Not sure that I like the new tech process. I was flooded with a copy of all answers submitted. Add to that the anoying Ad's that pop up.

Once you sign up, you can send an e-mail to FRCtech2002@yahoogroups.com and it will post to the list in the same way as if you posted it using the group page @ yahoo...

Also, it does give you an option to get a daily digest of all e-mails, rather than every individual message. I chose the digest myself...

Thanks Nate, I signed up to recieve all questions originally and recieved 15 e-mails in 30 min. oops! Now I get the bulk mailing as well. Hopefully All questions will be answered in a timely fashion!
